The Mystic Beat Lounge Crew ramps up to this year's amazing Techno-Tribal Dance with a rockin’ pre-party in the North Bay's premiere music venue, Sebastopol’s Hopmonk Tavern!
Featuring last year's Techno Tribal headliner Gaudi - who seriously rocked Techno Tribal Dancewith all original dubwise flavored, breaks, electro and house-driven, bass-bonking tunes. Gaudi makes his only scheduled Northern California appearance this year, and with an all new album and floor raising set!. Also on the line up is Heyoka who represents Mystic Beat Lounge’s Friday night vibe at the festival this year. As a Bay Area producer and DJ, Heyoka’s music wobbles the line between midtempo, IDM and glitch-spawned grooves while embracing the low end ethos of dubstep. With opening support from DJ Dragonfly, spinning an amalgamation of chunky global dub derivatives, plus the visual wizardry of VJ Videoliscious, you have a night that's alchemically set to galvanize your groove!

Bay with an arsenal of new tunes, live dub-trickery and heavyweight stompers from his newest album "No Prisoners". Marked by dirty electro and reggae-ruffed beats, Celtic dubstep, Middle Eastern dub and deep, whumpy global electronica, "No Prisoners" is his most seminal release to date, bar none!

Heyoka AKA Andrei Olenev is a cosmic auditory scientist found in the Bay Area noosphere, who has been blowing minds with his sonic manipulations.A¨Muti Music first released Heyoka's Space Case EPâ in 2008 and included him on their growing roster of talented artists. His albums 'Whomp Gland & Pineal Dub', 'Gate Code' and the all new 'Marklar' album in 2010 have shown
that he is a producer consistently evolving his musical style while managing to maintain a signature sound that is distinctively 'Heyoka'.

From the straits of Gibraltar to the shores of the Ganges, Dragonfly's sets bridge all variations of the underground dance scene and the ecstatic dance scene. Incorporating genre-morphing bass culture with the leading edge of world electronica and programming, his mixes fuse Dubstep, Downtempo, Breaks, Glitch, House and Drum n Bass with the sounds of the global village. Traditional cultural sounds, including sitars, Brazilian percussion, indigenous vocal samples, Middle Eastern instrumentation, etc. add their definitive melodic lift in his creation of a unique dancefloor
experience!
